Anti Bribery Policy

    This Anti-bribery Policy signifies a commitment of AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad (the Company) in conducting its business with integrity, sincere and ethical manner.
    Involvement in bribery and corruption can lead to reputational damage and loss of business opportunity. Therefore, Anti-bribery programs are essential component of the Company which specifies requirements and provides guidance to safeguard the Company from bribery risk, in line with AEON Code of Conduct. In upholding the above commitment, the Company shall:
    a. Adopt zero tolerance of all forms of bribery
    b. Comply with and adhere to the provision of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (Act 694) and other applicable laws and regulations, rules, policies and procedures
    c. Promote an appropriate anti-bribery culture and continual improvement;
    d. Uphold the values of transparency and provide whistleblowing channels to encourage reporting on any bribery and corruption practices in good faith
    e. Establish an independent compliance function to oversee the implementation of anti-bribery programs
    On annual basis, the Management and Board shall review the Policy to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness in line with the Company’s Code of Conduct.
    The Company shall impose appropriate actions against any violation to this policy in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s policies & procedures.
